ビジネスマナー&戦略的コミュニケーション総合講座
An 8-session online course for international professionals working in Japan.
Business manners, keigo, reporting, consensus building, reading the room and business writing.
"Your skills need the right packaging to be seen."
You arrive on time, focus hard in meetings and deliver high-quality work — yet colleagues may read it differently. This course closes that gap.
The idea behind every session
Trust = Ability × Predictability
Most of our students already have the ability. The course gives you the patterns that make your work visible and predictable to Japanese colleagues — so your ability turns into trust.
Each session follows "Rahman", a skilled engineer whose good intentions are misread — and shows what to do instead.
Clear "types" for requests, refusals, reports, consultations and emails — practiced in role plays, not just explained.
A "My Strategy Sheet" every session turns the lesson into actions at your own workplace. No stereotypes: we treat differences as gaps to bridge, not right or wrong.
After the course
50 min / session (40 min lesson + 10 min Q&A) • 2 sessions / week • 1 month
Real slides from the course, made by the instructor. Japanese with English support on every slide.
Session 1 · First Impressions
Why being "on time" at 9:00 can look like "cutting it close" — and how to show your real intentions.
Session 3 · Hō-Ren-Sō
Conclusion → reason → next step, in under a minute. Especially when the news is bad.
Session 4 · Nemawashi
Map who cares about what — then talk to the right people, in the right order, before the meeting.

Founder, Lumina Solis Strategy & Coaching
Shiori has spent more than 15 years at IT companies as a DX consultant and marketer. Supporting overseas companies entering the Japanese market, she has worked as a bridge between international clients and Japanese businesses — sharing Japanese culture, business manners and everyday Japanese along the way.
Today she is a strategic business partner to a company in Bangladesh, managing alliances with Japanese language schools and running interview practice for students preparing to study in Japan. She also works as a PMO / consultant for a product company and at an English after-school program for children.
Outside work, she has helped many international friends with daily life in Japan, job application documents and interview practice — and one of them went on to receive a job offer from a major Japanese company.

Yes — working on real situations is the point of the course. Please change names and numbers when you share examples. We ask everyone in the class to keep what is shared in class confidential.
There are no make-up sessions, but you will receive the slides and the My Strategy Sheet for that session, and you can bring questions to the next Q&A.
Please let us know in the form. We'll discuss how your company can apply and pay. Group training for a team is also possible — just ask.
No course can guarantee that — evaluation differs by company. The course helps you make your work visible and build a concrete plan with your manager, which gives you a stronger position.
