3-Month N5 Japanese Course · 24 Live Online Lessons
Small-group coaching (2–5 students) for daily communication and confidence
"A Japanese level is a milestone. Real communication is the goal."
Not just for passing a test — for living, working and talking in Japan.
Every lesson has a clear "I can…" goal built around real situations: convenience stores, restaurants, train stations, pharmacies and the workplace.
With a maximum of 5 students, you get real speaking time, role plays and personal feedback in every lesson. Join with a friend and practice together.
Practical know-how textbooks often skip: using IC cards, no tipping at restaurants, the emergency numbers 119 and 110, sorting garbage, and more.
After 3 months
Lesson 23 includes a mock check based on the three sections of JLPT N5. Results show your strengths and weak points; they do not guarantee an exam score.
90 min / lesson • 2 lessons / week • 24 live lessons in total
Introduce yourself, handle prices and times, describe your day, ask for directions and take the train with an IC card.
Shop and order food, talk about what you like, ask for help in class, explain symptoms, chat with friends — then get through "a day in Japan" in Japanese only.
Talk about past and future, ask permission, use workplace greetings, read signs, listen to natural Japanese, take an N5-style check and give a graduation speech.
Real slides from the course, made by the instructor. Every Japanese line comes with romaji and English, so complete beginners can follow.
Lesson 01 · Nice to Meet You!
Not just "I am…" — you also learn to ask back with "…-san wa?". This is what you try in the free trial lesson.
Lesson 08 · Let's Take the Train!
Your IC card doesn't work at the ticket gate. What do you say? Each lesson practices moments like this.
Lesson 13 · When You Feel Sick
Every lesson ends with a Japan Life Tip — here, using a pharmacy and the emergency numbers 119 and 110.

Founder, Lumina Solis Strategy & Coaching
Shiori has spent more than 15 years at IT companies as a DX consultant and marketer. Supporting overseas companies entering the Japanese market, she has worked as a bridge between international clients and Japanese businesses — sharing Japanese culture, business manners and everyday Japanese along the way.
Today she is a strategic business partner to a company in Bangladesh, managing alliances with Japanese language schools and running interview practice for students preparing to study in Japan. She also works as a PMO / consultant for a product company and at an English after-school program for children.
Outside work, she has many friends who are international students in Japan. She has helped them with daily-life questions, Japanese pronunciation, job application documents and interview practice — and one of them went on to receive a job offer from a major Japanese company.
She started this class hoping to make life in Japan easier for more people: not only by speaking Japanese, but by understanding the culture and the everyday manners behind it.
Lessons use simple Japanese with English support.

It's a 40-minute online session on Google Meet: about 25 minutes of a mini lesson from Lesson 1 ("Nice to meet you!") and about 15 minutes to talk about your goals and answer your questions. There's no obligation to join.
The course covers the main N5 grammar and vocabulary, and Lesson 23 is a mock check based on the three sections of JLPT N5. But the main goal is using Japanese in real life. We cannot guarantee an exam result. Please check the latest exam information at jlpt.jp.
