受講規約

These Terms apply to all programs provided by Lumina Solis Strategy & Coaching (represented by Shiori Kawamoto; the "Provider").

If a separate enrollment agreement is signed for the N5 Japanese Course and it differs from these Terms, the agreement prevails.

The Provider offers the following programs online via Google Meet. Details are on each course page.

Apply via the form on our website or via LINE.

After receiving your application, we will email you the start date (or session time), price, bank details, payment deadline and cancellation policy.

The contract is formed when you agree to these Terms and we confirm your payment. Sending a form alone does not form a contract.

Fees are as shown in the table in Article 2. The listed price is the total amount you pay.

Payment is by bank transfer. Bank transfer fees are paid by the student.

Payment deadline: 3 days before the start date for the N5 Course and the Business Course; 24 hours before the start time for the Discussion Salon and Private Coaching.

Discussion Salon tickets are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

N5 Course: full refund if you cancel before the course starts (within 7 days of your request). After it starts, the course is divided into three periods (Lessons 1–8, 9–16, 17–24). If you tell us at least 7 days before the first lesson of the next period, we refund the periods that have not started (¥13,333 each for Periods 1–2, ¥13,334 for Period 3). The current period is not refunded.

Business Course: full refund if you cancel before the course starts (within 7 days of your request). No refund after the course starts, as it is a short 1-month course.

Discussion Salon: if you tell us at least 24 hours before the start time, your ticket is moved to another date. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows use up the ticket. If a session is not held because fewer than 2 people join, you may choose a new date or a refund. Otherwise, tickets are not refundable.

Private Coaching: if you tell us at least 24 hours before the start time, you may reschedule or receive a full refund. No refund for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows.

Bank transfer fees for refunds requested by the student are paid by the student.

If a class does not open because there are not enough students, or if the Provider cancels, we refund the full amount (or the part not yet provided) and pay the transfer fee.

For the N5 Course and the Business Course, there are no make-up lessons for absences on the student's side. N5 students receive the recording and slides; Business Course students receive the slides and My Strategy Sheet.

If a lesson is cancelled for the Provider's reasons (such as the instructor's illness), a make-up lesson is held at a time agreed with the students.

Absence due to problems with the student's own internet connection or devices is treated as absence on the student's side.

N5 Course lessons are recorded so students can review. Recordings are shared view-only with students in the same class and deleted 30 days after the course ends. They are not used for other purposes, such as advertising, without consent.

The Business Course, Discussion Salon and Private Coaching are, in principle, not recorded, so that students can talk freely about their workplaces.

Students must not: (1) record, film or photograph lessons, or share recordings or materials with others; (2) insult or harass other students or the instructor; (3) share other students' personal information, or workplace information they shared in class, without their consent; (4) transfer or lend their place to another person.

The Provider owns the copyright in all materials, slides and recordings. Students may use them only for their own study and may not copy, distribute or post them online.

If a student breaks Article 8 and does not change their behavior after a warning, the Provider may end the contract. Lessons not yet held are refunded pro rata (N5: ¥40,000 ÷ 24; Business: ¥12,000 ÷ 8; rounded down to the yen); the transfer fee is paid by the student.

Our programs do not guarantee passing the JLPT or any other exam, or a promotion or job offer.

If a student suffers damage due to the Provider's ordinary negligence, the Provider's liability is limited to the fee received for that program. This limit does not apply to intent or gross negligence.

The Provider uses personal information only to contact students, run programs and send information about them, and does not share it with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

Students who join at the 1st cohort monitor price agree to answer a short survey after the course. If the Provider wishes to share a student's feedback on its website or social media, it will first get consent to the content and how the name is shown.

The Provider may change these Terms. Changes apply to applications made after they are posted on the website. Existing contracts follow the Terms in effect at the time of application.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Matters not covered here will be resolved through good-faith discussion.

If a dispute goes to court, the district or summary court in Japan with jurisdiction over the student's address or the Provider's location will be the court of first instance.
